1. Introduction
Third Domain Travel ("we," "us," or "our") is a registered travel agency and tour operator based in Pakistan. These Terms govern the relationship between Third Domain Travel and you (the "Client," "tourist," or "traveler") for all bookings, itineraries, and services provided by us.
2. Bookings, Deposits, and Payments
- Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once we receive a completed booking form and the required non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid at least 45 days before the tour start date. Failure to do so may result in cancellation and loss of deposit.
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank wire transfer and secure international online card portals. The Client is responsible for any intermediary bank or transaction fees.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing. The following scale of charges applies based on when your cancellation request is received:
| Notice Period | Refund Amount |
|---|---|
| 60+ days before departure | Full refund (excluding deposit) |
| 30 to 59 days before departure | 50% of total tour cost returned |
| Less than 30 days before departure | No refund (100% cancellation charge) |
4. Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure
Pakistan is an adventure destination with unpredictable weather, mountainous terrain, and evolving administrative policies. We reserve the right to alter routes, accommodation, or activities without prior notice due to safety concerns, landslides, flight cancellations, or political changes.
Force Majeure: Third Domain Travel is not liable for costs or delays arising from events beyond our control, including acts of God, natural disasters, blockages, pandemics, or government restrictions. Any extra expenses incurred due to emergency itinerary modifications are the responsibility of the Client.
5. Visas, Passports, and Government Permits (NOCs)
All foreign tourists must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months past their departure date. Obtaining a Pakistani Visa is the sole responsibility of the Client. While we provide Visa Invitation Letters (LOI) and assist with Government-issued Non-Objection Certificates (NOCs) for restricted areas (such as border zones or certain regions in Gilgit-Baltistan), we cannot be held responsible for government denials or delays.
6. Mandatory Travel Insurance
Because of the remote and rugged environments on our itineraries, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all foreign clients. Your policy must cover emergency medical expenses, trip cancellations, and medical evacuation (including helicopter rescue in high-altitude zones if you are embarking on a mountain trek).
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Third Domain Travel, its guides, drivers, and partners shall not be held liable for personal injury, illness, property damage, loss, delay, or death, unless directly caused by our gross negligence.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Islamabad, Pakistan.
